This pre-release adds user-placed map markers, new avatar cosmetics, weapon and necromancy adjustments, and a wide set of gameplay, world, audio, and stability fixes.
Map & Navigation
- ▸User-placed Map Markers: create custom markers anywhere with configurable names, icons, and colors; share markers in multiplayer; gameplay settings control marker visibility on map and compass; delete via map context menu
- ▸Map marker icons updated and display resolution improved
- ▸Player names always render on the map and are easier to read when zoomed in
- ▸Compass uses different icons based on vertical distance (above or below you)
- ▸Teleport option for map markers is hidden in Adventure gamemode
Cosmetics & Customization
- ▸New avatar options: Tweed Hat, Mage Shirt (overtop), Styled Flats, Wedge Shoes; new color variations for Fashionable Shoes; new haircut; updated Morning haircut visuals; Construction Hard Hat added
Combat & Items
- ▸Weapon adjustments: damage and upgrade consistency fixed across some weapon tiers; guarding stamina costs corrected for certain drop-only weapons; all spear types stack to 5 and are throwable
- ▸Necromancy Grimoire: summons and summoner no longer damage each other; summons react when the player is attacked, not only when attacking; summons are faster and more aggressive; skeletal minion variety increased, including a ranged variant
- ▸In-hand positioning improved for Ingots and Sticks
Gameplay
- ▸Doors no longer close when blocked by entities or players
- ▸Teleporters require clearing a short distance before re-use
- ▸Sort keybind works in player inventory; "Take All" for processing bench output; shift-dragging quickly transfers items between inventories
- ▸Minecarts no longer move when stuck
- ▸Chicken Coop farming bench tier requirement reduced from 5 to 3
- ▸Large Kweebec Chests support placing blocks on top
- ▸Fixed NPCs in a Coop transforming into other NPCs; fixed capturing a dead NPC with the Capture Crate
- ▸Utility wheel quick swap reworked to include the inactive slot
Blocks & World
- ▸Incandescent Volcanic Rock re-added
- ▸New or updated block textures and variants: Thorium Cracks, Basalt Cracks, Magma Cracks, Mud Dry Cracks; updated crack variants for 4 ore blocks; Cobalt texture updated; Magma Adamantite block tiling fixed
- ▸Default_Flat and Default_Void weather configurations added for their respective world instances
Audio
- ▸Water emitter radius fixed so audio plays in stereo instead of only the left ear; audio emitter entities and fluid ambient effects fixed; sword swing and impact sounds updated
UI & Quality of Life
- ▸Container action keybind indicators moved to a better position; chest/bench keybind tooltips fixed when keybinds are unassigned; workbench chest connection radius text clarified
Security
- ▸Permissions bypass in the Asset Editor fixed; it had allowed unauthorized JSON asset modifications to non-standard asset packs (already patched in release builds)
Stability & Bug Fixes
- ▸World generation performance improved
- ▸Filler blocks now break correctly in cases such as large doors; block placement mis-predictions fixed
- ▸Mount state fixes when changing worlds: minecart and horse mount state now clear correctly
- ▸Screen fade issues during world transfers fixed; chunk saving deadlock when removing a world fixed
